The Advanced Securities &
Markets Seminar is designed to give the attendee an advanced, thorough
knowledge of some of the more complex public securities available
in today's fast-paced markets as well as some of the trading techniques
used in conjunction with these instruments.
During the Advanced Securities & Markets Seminar,
the attendee will focus on learning about the more advanced securities
and many of the derivative securities spawned because of them. There
will be discussion as to where these instruments are traded, who
trades them and who buys them. Because they make up such a large
portion of institutional holdings, there will be a special focus
on many of today's high tech debt securities as well as the vast
array of mortgage and asset instruments. Since the accounting issues
relating to these securities can vary widely depending upon the
basis used, statutory, GAAP or tax, there will be a discussion relating
to these differences. Of course, the systems issues which result
from the above will be covered in detail.
The Advanced Securities & Markets Seminar is
ideal for anyone who needs a more detailed knowledge of the types
of securities available in today's marketplace and how to account
for them.
